Sverre is unapologetically substantial.
Made with a heavier gauge flat pewter thread, it’s stitched directly onto reindeer leather in a repeating zigzag pattern that gives the bracelet its strength and texture. The braid is dense and deliberate, with a feel that’s solid on the wrist, not delicate, not fussy.
The pewter brings structure, while the leather keeps it comfortable to wear. It holds its shape and changes gradually with time, without losing that sense of weight.
It stands easily on its own, and can be paired with finer pieces when you want the contrast.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days.
