Dark Nidhogg carries a quieter intensity. Woven with black copper thread and a contrasting copper accent, the braid feels shadowed and deliberate, with depth that builds through the pattern rather than shine.
The color shifts as it moves, revealing the structure of the weave instead of announcing it.
It has a bit of weight to it, visually and on the wrist. The darker tones keep it grounded, while the copper catches light just enough to keep it from fading out.
It wears in over time and becomes more interesting the longer you live with it.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.
