Marit is a piece made to stay with you.
Designed as a wrap, it moves easily between roles. Worn twice around the wrist, it feels familiar, something you put on without thinking. Around the neck, it becomes a relaxed choker or simple necklace, shifting with the day instead of asking anything from it.
Made from leather cord braided with either pewter thread or copper thread, it’s built to feel comfortable from the start. The materials are straightforward and easy against the skin, chosen for how they wear and hold up over time.
It’s not a piece that announces itself. It’s one that fits in. Easy, dependable, and quietly versatile.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days. Shipping time is additional. If you need your piece by a specific date or occasion, contact me before ordering so I can confirm the timing for you.
