Braided Anna
Braided Anna is a wider take on the Anna design, built with more structure and contrast from the start. Medium-gauge pewter thread is woven through strands of grey copper, then framed with a braided border that gives it a clean, grounded edge.
The high points are left exposed, so the copper shows its shine right away instead of waiting for wear to bring it through. It gives the braid depth early on, while still allowing the materials to change over time.
At about 5/8” to 3/4” wide, it has a strong presence on the wrist without feeling rigid. It wears comfortably and softens with use, keeping that balance of structure and ease that runs through the Anna designs.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days.
