Fortitude is built to keep going.
The braid turns back into itself again and again, each line continuing forward without breaking. There’s a steadiness to it, a pattern that doesn’t rush or shift, just carries through.
Woven by hand in pewter thread, it holds its shape on its own, without a leather backing. Sterling silver beads catch the light as you move, following the line of the braid.
It wears with a quiet strength. Something that holds its line.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days. Shipping time is additional. If you need your piece by a specific date or occasion, contact me before ordering so I can confirm the timing for you.
