Dori
Dori is a straightforward piece, built from six strands of pewter thread.
It has a bit of weight to it and sits comfortably on the wrist. The braid feels steady, something you notice in a good way once it’s on.
Easy to wear on its own, or alongside other pieces, depending on how you want it to sit.
At about 3/8” wide, it’s often where people start, and one they tend to come back to.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days. Shipping time is additional. If you need your piece by a specific date or occasion, contact me before ordering so I can confirm the timing for you.
