Corded Dori is an easy, adaptable piece. Just as at home on its own as it is layered with others.
The braid combines pewter thread with a soft leather cord woven through the center, giving it a subtle depth and a slightly more relaxed feel.
At about 3/8” wide, it wears lightly and settles in without asking for attention. The leather brings a bit of warmth and flexibility, softening the line while keeping the form clean.
It works quietly. One you reach for often, whether it’s your first or one added into a growing stack.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days. Shipping time is additional. If you need your piece by a specific date or occasion, contact me before ordering so I can confirm the timing for you.
