Antiqued Nidhogg 50g
Antiqued Nidhogg carries a darker, more settled presence. The braid keeps its long, continuous line, but the antiqued finish brings out the depth in the pattern, softening the surface and drawing attention into the weave rather than across it.
Woven by hand using pewter thread and finished on reindeer leather, it has a steady, grounded feel on the wrist. The form stays structured, while the finish gives it a worn-in character from the start.
Over time, the surface shifts subtly, the high points brightening while the recesses hold their depth.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.
