Big Drift Antiqued carries the same weight as the original, just a little deeper. The finish settles into the braid, softening the shine and bringing out the structure of the weave.
What was once bright feels more grounded here.
Woven by hand using a lighter-gauge pewter thread, it has the presence of a medium-weight piece. The antiquing adds depth without adding bulk, giving it a steadier feel on the wrist.
Over time, the surface continues to shift. The high points begin to come forward again, while the darker areas hold their depth.
At about 7/16” wide, it wears easily day to day.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days.
