Antiqued Anna with Copper
Antiqued Anna with Copper builds on the original Anna design, bringing copper into the braid and letting the materials shift over time. Pewter and copper are woven together, then antiqued by hand to create a surface with depth and texture.
Depending on the variation, either the copper or the pewter comes forward, changing the tone without changing the structure. The braid stays balanced and substantial, with the finish adding depth rather than shine.
At about 7/16” wide, it wears easily and continues to change with use. The surface softens, the tones deepen, and the character builds gradually over time.

Each piece is made by hand in my Washington studio using traditional Sámi techniques and materials imported directly from Sweden.
Materials vary by design and may include reindeer leather, pewter thread, antler, copper, beads, sterling silver, or 14k gold. The pewter thread is an alloy of tin and silver. Small variations are part of the handwork, not flaws.

Your piece is made after your order is placed, and most are ready to ship in about two weeks. Intricate and custom work sometimes needs more time, so during busy seasons, please allow up to 30 days.
